Network News

Alvarado Hospital Medical Center

Prime Healthcare who purchased Alvarado Hospital Medical Center in the San Diego area decided not to extend their contract with Aetna. As a result, Alvarado Hospital Medical Center is no longer in the network effective February 1, 2012. Click here to learn more about transistional care.

PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center and Southwest Washington Group

On March 3, 2011 PeaceHealth Southwest Washington Medical Center notified Aetna of their intention to terminate their contract effective January 1, 2012. SInce that date Aetna and PeaceHealth have been engaged in active negotiations. Unfortunatley Aetna and PeaceHealth were not able to reach an agreement. In addition to the medical center, Sourthwest Washington Medical Gorup is also terminating from Aetna's network on January 1, 2012. Click here to learn more about transistional care.
